Eversmashing

We have a new home!  Jon, Baby, and I moved this past week into our new house, and Baby and I have been having a super time these past few days setting things up here while Jon's been at work.  I found some lovely sheer white curtains to use in Baby's room, and Jon and I discovered a cute little blue penguin that would go with our "arctic" decor fabulously.

Jon was ordained and installed at our new church this past weekend.  It was a very exciting event for all of us.  Pastor Stuebs was the guest preacher, and he managed to startle Baby over and over with his enthusiastic preaching style... for the first half of the sermon, I got a huge "jump" after each of his phrases!

The biggest news this week happened last night -- Baby finally cooperated enough to let Jon feel him/her kick!  Usually Jon's hand on my belly calms Baby down, but s/he was really going to town last night, and he was able to catch a kick or two.  He was thrilled and I was glad to be able to share that experience with him finally.

On my "to do" list for next week is finally figuring out which midwife I will be going with here in MI, and setting up an appointment; it's about that time again!
