Eversmashing

Well, it's almost been another week, and Baby's been having a good time bouncing and wiggling around, particularly in the evenings.  Apparently Baby is a night owl like Jon and I.

Baby's kicks and punches are strong enough now that I'm convinced that Jon could probably feel them from the outside.  However, the problem seems to be that Jon has a soothing effect upon Baby -- whenever he puts his hand on my belly to feel Baby, s/he calms down and stops kicking.  Silly Baby.

Since we've been in "waiting for news" mode with our loan and house closing, I've had quite a bit of free time to relax and watch HGTV (home & garden television channel).  I've started gathering ideas for the nursery, and right now am quite fond of keeping the blue paint that's already on the walls, and adding white and black furniture and accents, along with some stuffed animals that we have to create an "arctic" theme, somewhat like this --

More ideas coming soon!  Top priority when we move in is going to be repainting and decorating the master bedroom, so the nursery might still be on hold for awhile.
