Eversmashing

Well, we were supposed to have our ultrasound today.  Yesterday they called and had to reschedule... such is life, I suppose.  I figure Baby will be just as cute if not cuter next week, so I'm trying to be patient.  I'm also thankful that thus far my pregnancy has been so low-risk that they're able to take this "well, whenever" approach to the ultrasound.

This week Baby has been enjoying listening to music with me.  While Jon's been working to put together and memorize a sermon, I've been plugging in a set of headphones and putting one in my own ear and another on my belly where Baby can here.  So far we've been listening to Sigur Ros, Muse, and Apocalyptica, as well as a few downloads of Rockabye Baby -- a group that lullaby renditions of music from popular groups such as The Smashing Pumpkins, Radiohead, Nirvana, and Eagles.

Baby has been adapting to our weird sleep schedule, and seems to be most active late at night.  Or maybe I just notice it most then because we're usually sitting around then instead of busy doing a million things?  Regardless, I hope Baby realizes within the next twenty weeks or so that it's probably NOT a good idea to still be up and dancing around at midnight or 1am.  I might have to work on my own sleep schedule to remedy that situation -- right now I'm just excited to be feeling awake again throughout most of the day, and taking advantage of this time we have off work before we have to get back into a 'normal' routine!
